Hi hi dear Reader Many greetings apply this week - happy new moon! Happy Summer Solstice! It’s that time again - and you’re like what do you mean??? 👀 About 1-2x/month, I get this feeling I’m either in the flow (woop woop 🎉) or I’m in a funk (something needs shifting)! When I’m in the flow my playtime is great, 1:1 time with my family members is rockin’, and important projects are in forward progress. If I am feeling funky (not disco funky - just OFF), my space feels cluttered, I am tired, I have been eating too many scones. (Because you’re curious 😆, I like the scones that have more crunchy tops and yes with that special type of sugar on top!) When you are in flow, you celebrate yourself. If in the funk zone, its time for…🥁 #1 Start and #1 Stop #1 Start = What’s my #1 positive behavior that I know will benefit me the most when I do it? #1 Stop = Whats my #1 negative behavior no longer serving me that I know I need to stop? And how: Make your start: easy, visible, and celebrate it! Make your stop: hard to do, invisible, and celebrate or needs work it! This cycle I am (re-) starting taking a shower after Gordie’s bedtime. (why? to move my bedtime up 10-15min and get more sleep!) I am stopping kitchen work after 8 pm. (why? to increase time spent with Marshall and David reading or resting - and that feels good for my ❤️) **Reader, the WHY is the force multiplier here. If you don’t have a strong enough why - or dont let yourself dream or reflect on this, the start and stop are just empty promises that you won’t follow through on… Really you already know what needs celebrating and shifting. Some of my start and stops are ongoing so don’t feel bad if thats you too. We are all halfway through this year and take some time to see how you want the rest of your journey of the year to go! ➡️Go check out my site where I put up all my YouTube playlists, good to bookmark! *I can only hope you feel more clear, relaxed, and balanced after you spend time moving and breathing. Well, Reader, good on you from last week 👊🏽! Super stoked you are showing up for yourself! You have two reflections today as you move through your Mid-Year Reset! As always, take your 1-2-3 breaths to get grounded in the present moment- Offer yourself compassion, love, and be open to all messages from your heart! First reflection: How satisfied are you with your life (beyond accomplishments)? What are you most proud of? What’s working? What’s not? (Stream of consciousness writing, bullet...
Reader 🖐 high five for excavating your accomplishments and the successes in your life BIG and SMALL. I enjoyed going through my calendar and my photos and picked up on some fun things and good projects that I completed and forgotten about...(like a fun trip to Park City, and some yoga events I put on 🤦🏻♀️) so that was great to add those to my list! Let's go! Step 2 of your Mid-Year Reset is MY LEARNINGS. This is your OPPORTUNITY to reflect on what you’ve learned from your frustrations,...
Hi hi Reader. I am teaching a favorite thing of mine this week at some in person workshops. The Mid Year Reset It’s a super fun and surefire way to ROCK the rest of your year. I learned this from a business course I took with Marie Forleo as well as integrating wisdom and tools from Heroic and Rock Your Goddess Life. Supplies needed: pens (regular or different colors for fun! And a journal/paper). *Writing by hand is preferred to typing. Step 1: Reflect on your year up to this point. Take...
