Want to know how I make my days amazing? 🫶

Hi hi, Reader! It’s March! My birthday month woop woop!! 🎉

And at my beautiful age of 49! I keep coming back to what is working in my life and that is my:

AM Bookend

(😉you could also call is Morning Rituals / Morning self care / AM Protocol)

You want to make time for your own beautiful sacred nugget of time in the morning.

It’s a complete “choose your own adventure” practice.

(And I name it a practice because it grows and evolves as you figure out what works for you.)

The morning time (ideally before you need to give care or support to any other beings)is purely YOURS.

It can be 3-5-10-15-20+ minutes that you design to support you having a really great day.

My 3 tips for an awesome AM ritual time block are:

Do your #1 thing.

Be Creative before reactive.

Do a physical / mental-emotional / spiritual check in.

➡️your #1 thing is the 1 thing you do, that creates a best day ever (read, journal, move*, meditate, pray, drink your coffee, dance, ETC)

➡️being creative before reactive means getting clear on you and your needs / wants before you pick up your phone, check your email, check social media ETC (anything outside your conscious / subconscious thoughts)- bonus points for journaling this stuff!

➡️physical / mental-emotional / spiritual check in : via meditation, breathwork, prayer, sitting outside in nature and observing - SOLITUDE!

*movement is like a little bit of Ritalin and a little bit of Prozac - it helps regulate your mood and how you feel - thats why getting outside and being active will most likely always be a good thing!

What’s in my AM bookend: meditate 5 min +, journal 5+ words, write down 5 things I am grateful for, and go train (move my body!)

⭐️ “Mom/parent hack”: having a few different “protocols” will help you stay with it ( weekend days, days when you need to sleep more, normal days, ETC)

So what’s your AM Bookend / Ritual /Protocol like? Click REPLY and let me know!

Good luck! Be Well! Xo cp❤️

I just realized this myself, Reader, and I was like WHOA!!!! As a mom with kids in school, now is my time to REFLECT on all that's happened (that I made happen!) since September. And ask myself: Have I moved closer to those guiding stars (my goals)? Is there some other thing / way of being / call to adventure that is unfinished or needs more forward progress? 🔥 Because in 11 weeks, when Jr. Lifeguard carpools start, schedules are regularly irregular, and I get to enjoy more time with my boys,...

Hi hi Reader! The equinox is upon us. The 1/2 way point between the winter solstice and the summer solstice. It’s OUR opportunity to listen into our light and our dark —- what’s churning, what’s composting, what’s being planted. Do yourself a favor and RECLAIM sacred solitude to DIVE IN and find out what’s important to you… what behaviors you are ready to let go of ~ what are you calling in ~ Take that breath. Take the walk. Have the difficult conversation. Put your phone down and APPRECIATE...

And ps spring equinox is in a week!!!

Hi hi Reader! Have I told you how much I love math? I have always loved math and if I wasn’t in my healer / yogi / coach / mom lifeline right now 😆, I would’ve been a finance major and done something with that! ➡️or a choreographer ➡️ or a pediatric cardiac surgeon! Now, I use my math skills to enjoy working with the Quickbooks for our businesses. My dancing skills are being channeled into weekly hula practice. The dreams of being a pediatric cardiac surgeon went into my work with kids and...
