Hey hey Reader! Four weeks until summer break over here…I am not fist pumping because I am having a hard school semester 😆 BUT I am looking over my affirmations / wishes / to-do list… And trying to make sure all things are done before the kids are home for summer break. I had wanted to finish a couple of coaching courses and another healer course before June 11th. After checking in with what has been done and what’s LEFT to do, I am coming up short! I am frustrated. I didn’t get it all done. I likely won’t. You feel me? So NOW What?? Not business in the front like the mullet - let’s switch that to Party (aka Celebrate first- not tech blow up your brains) in the front, and business in the back! FIRST. Stop and 🎉Celebrate ALL the growth, projects, ideas, joy…ALL the THINGS from these past 9-10 months.🎉 No I mean it, stop and close your eyes and think about what has evolved, who you’ve become, the lives you’ve impacted, the “goals” you seen through. Then, check in with what’s left to do or who you are evolving to be. Do you still have some big goals or guiding stars that need your attention? If the answer is YES, then DECIDE what steps / actions you’ve got to dial in. If it’ a NO, then either LET IT GO (in yoga we call this composting or releasing into the fire) Or my fave, MODIFY what needs doing. What’s the most important thing / idea / project that you want to do….AND What’s the most important part of that you want to take action on? Hi hiReader! This week in our house we are reflecting on “What do you want to learn this summer?” This was of course a question I proposed, followed by my boys groaning, “NOOOOOO schoolwork, Mom!”. But I flipped it for them - they were surprised - and I said school work is off limits for the learning in summer plan! My answers were YES! I love love love the energy of my house. It is a home with all the “sounds of life.” (A term my yoga teacher, Shiva Rea uses.)
